It was both an honor and a pleasure to be part of this unique project as a filmmaker. This citizens' assembly deepened my perspective on democracy, revealing the possibilities if we were to embrace a democracy true to its name. There is profound value in ensuring equal political power and voice for all.While many believe power should rest in the hands of experts or the 'more intelligent,' perhaps true democracy lies in trusting the collective wisdom of all voices, not just the few.
